We decided that we were going to cut down our Christmas tree this year. I have never done it, but Jim has when he was a kid, so we thought it would be a fun thing for the family to do... so we set out last weekend to search for the perfect tree. Our house has 10 ft ceilings, so I was all about finding the "Griswald family" tree, but I don't think they grow that way in New Mexico...
We got our permit, and searched high and low (in the rain) for the better part of the day, but all we could find were different sizes of Charlie Brown trees.
Now, it very well could be that we were being too critical of the trees we did find, there were lots of people heading back down the mountain with trees in the back of their trucks.
